 Since 2001, Gray Academy students have performed large-scale musicals much to the delight of parents, friends and relatives. Each year, we alternate between a high school performance and an elementary school performance. Here is a list of recent musicals that have graced our stage:

"Jungle Book Kids" is this year's elementary school musical that will be presented at our very own Berney Theatre by grade 5 and 6 students from Monday, November 28th to Thursday, December 1 at 7 PM. Everyone in the grade has been cast. Parents need to confirm their child's involvement in the musical by email to mbronstein@grayacademy.ca. Rehearsals will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 to 6 PM and Sundays from 10 AM to 1 PM in the music room. A blog will be set up with all current rehearsal schedules and cast information in September. The blog will be updated as rehearsals progress and during the rehearsal process should be checked daily by the cast and families.
The school band meets every Monday through Thursday after school under the musical direction of David Hasselfield. (Mon/Wed: Gr. 5: 3:50 – 4:30, Gr. 6: 4:30 – 5:10, Sectionals Gr. 5/6: 5:10 – 5:30
Tues/Thurs: New Beginner Band: 3:50 – 4:30, Senior Band: 4:30 – 5:10, Sectionals: 5:10 – 5:30 pm)
