Partnership 2000 – Gesher Chai (Living Bridge) Program
Gray Academy is proud to be involved in the Jewish Agency’s Partnership 2000 (P2K) program sponsored by the Jewish Federation of Winnipeg.
P2K’s Living Bridge (Gesher Chai) program helps to strengthen Jewish values and to foster a connection among elementary and high school students and teachers in the Galilee Panhandle and in Canada.
We are partnered with two schools in the Galilee Panhandle. Since 1997 we have been partnered with Danciger High School in Kiryat Shmona and our new elementary partner school is Nachsonei Hahula in the Hula Valley.
Gray Academy Delegation to Israel
Every year Gray Academy students are eligible to apply to join a student leadership delegation to Israel. Students spend two weeks living with a host-student from Danciger High. During the two weeks students lead workshops, volunteer, tour the region and return home with a stronger connection to the State of Israel.
Danciger High School Delegation to Winnipeg
Danciger High School also sends a leadership delegation each year to Gray Academy. This is definitely a highlight of the school year for high school students. www.danciger-school.com
Grade 12 Israel Trip
Gray Academy students also have an opportunity to return for another visit to the region on the annual Gr. 12 Israel trip.
